Vietnam's First Hospital Equipped with Latest 3D Mapping and Cardiac Arrhythmia Treatment System

Leading the way in modern medical technology applications to enhance healthcare and bring more benefits to patients, Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) has officially equipped the EnSite™ system – the latest generation 3D cardiac mapping and arrhythmia treatment system from Abbott. This is the first EnSite™ system available in Vietnam. 

3D cardiac mapping is a crucial technology in treating cardiovascular diseases, helping doctors diagnose and accurately locate the areas requiring intervention. Doctors can use the 3D map to choose the most appropriate treatment method for each patient, optimizing treatment outcomes and minimizing complications. 

Discussing the role of the 3D cardiac mapping system in treating arrhythmias, Dr. Alain Lebon, Department of Clinical and Interventional Cardiology, Hanoi French Hospital, said: "Advances in medical technology are helping doctors diagnose accurately and treat more effectively. Specifically, in catheter ablation for arrhythmias, when a doctor's expertise is supported by modern equipment, treatment efficacy is significantly enhanced, increasing success rates, reducing complications, and shortening treatment time for patients." 

Compared to previously developed systems, the EnSite™ X system revolutionizes high-density cardiac mapping thanks to its numerous superior features. The EnSite™ multipolar technology, combined with the Advisor™ HD Grid mapping catheter, accurately identifies signals, recording them in 360 degrees, a capability that no previous mapping technology could achieve. This enhances the accuracy of the map with three times the point density per signal acquisition, providing users with a reliable and effective system for all procedures.

Both the hardware and software of the system are optimized, making the operation process more efficient. According to the data, 94% of operating staff found the usability of the system improved thanks to the optimized software user interface; 93% of users agreed that the new system setup allows for faster troubleshooting and minimizes downtime. 

All these advantages enhance diagnostic and treatment efficiency, bringing significant benefits to patients. 

Hanoi French Hospital is the first medical facility in Vietnam to equip the EnSite™ system, demonstrating the hospital's commitment to investing in advanced and modern equipment to enhance healthcare quality and cardiovascular treatment effectiveness.
