Hanoi French Hospital assured First-class Emergency response, and a fridge full of ice-cream for runners, at the 15th Annual Song Hong half-marathon on December 8th this month. Alongside devoting itself to providing top-quality, comprehensive healthcare to all of Hanoi’s residents and guests, HFH is delighted to be able to support causes that benefit the community. This year’s Song Hong half-marathon was in aid of Education for Nature Vietnam, who strive to end Vietnam’s illegal wildlife trade.
Participants and supporters made generous donations to help raise awareness of this cause, and protect Vietnam’s stunning natural habitats and wildlife.
The HFH Emergency team, was at the ready to provide medical care to runners and attendees throughout the day. Dr. Kubo Shun, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung and their team of A&E nurses, assured constant care and vigilance for all attendees as they offered assistance in English, French, Japanese and Vietnamese.
Winding through the beautiful and scenic Ciputra Hanoi International City, runners of all ages enjoyed a variety of courses ranging from a 500m Kid Dash to a 21km half-marathon. The event attracted 330 participants, including 140 international runners – a fantastic turnout in support of a wonderful cause. HFH was delighted to offer all runners a cooling ice-cream as they completed their race too, a little bonus to lift tired legs.
Hanoi French Hospital is always committed to providing top-tier healthcare services to the community and believes that together we are creating a safe and sustainable future for all of its members. HFH looks forward to the next edition of this great community event!
