Hanoi French Hospital's "Petit Rayon de Soleil" Talk Show Empowers Expectant Mothers with Essential Knowledge

On September 16, 2023, Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) hosted another session of its talk show series, "Petit Rayon de Soleil" for expectant mothers.
The recent talk show, titled “Mother and Newborn Care from the smallest things" captivated the attention of 109 expectant mothers attending the event with their families.
The talk show provided expectant mothers with profound and valuable insights from experienced doctors. It addressed the questions and concerns of pregnant mothers in detail. The knowledge shared during the event served as a solid foundation, giving mothers more confidence in their journey to welcoming their "Petit Rayon de Soleil" (Little ray of sunshine) into the world.
Dr. Dao Thi Hop from the HFH Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology shared a wealth of useful knowledge about pregnancy and childbirth. The doctor covered essential topics such as pregnancy monitoring, dietary considerations during pregnancy, different stages of pregnancy, necessary tests, potential complications, as well as unique points when choosing to give birth at HFH.
Dr. Hop also provided guidance on when expectant mothers should go to the hospital, emphasizing the importance of acting promptly in the event of contractions or ruptured membranes.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Dung, Head of the HFH Rehabilitation Department, provided mothers with knowledge about obstetric rehabilitation. She delved into the changes that occur in a mother's body during pregnancy, obstetric rehabilitation methods, recommendations on exercise regimens, movement and pelvic floor muscle recovery, as well as postpartum care and rehabilitation for mothers. Dr. Dung gave mothers valuable knowledge to ensure their maternity health and postpartum recovery.
Throughout the talk show, HFH doctors and midwives answered mothers' questions, offering tailored advice and guidance based on each mother's specific concerns. The conversational format and exchange created an intimate and supportive atmosphere, helping attending mothers and their relatives feel confident in their pregnancy journey and the arrival of their babies.
The talk show covers various topics in each session and is regularly held at HFH to provide parents with useful knowledge on mother and baby care. The talk show is entirely free of charge.
