Last update 10/07/2023 - 11:26
In a heartwarming gesture to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) extended their support to students in Tan Phuong commune, Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province, by donating over 300 blankets and bed sheets. This act of kindness aims to provide warmth and comfort to the students as they face the upcoming winter season. The donation was made as part of the "Wish for Children" Program, organized by the Hanoi Journalists volunteer group, and marks the second consecutive year of HFH's participation in the initiative.
Tan Phuong commune, located in Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province, is known to face challenging circumstances. The commune consists of 114 preschool students in five class groups, as well as 325 students at Tan Phuong Primary and Secondary School, with 185 enrolled in primary school and 140 in high school. Notably, 99% of the students belong to ethnic minority groups. The "Wish for Children" program organized a Full Moon Festival, where numerous meaningful gifts were presented to the children in this community.
Ms. Carole Julien, the Director of Nursing of Hanoi French Hospital, shared:
"At Hanoi French Hospital, we deeply care about activities related to children's health. In addition to our professional activities, such as organizing thematic seminars, we actively participate in social initiatives dedicated to children. By providing warm blankets to the children of Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province, we aim to offer not only healthcare but also warmth and encouragement. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances."
As the first international hospital in Hanoi and the North of Vietnam, Hanoi French Hospital offers a full spectrum of specialized medical care, fully consistent with international standards of safety and quality as well as Vietnamese regulations, all in an integrated international style hotel-hospital facility. With a comprehensive range of European-standard medical services, internationally-trained doctors, a state-of-the-art new medical facility and advanced equipment, Hanoi French Hospital is widely acclaimed for bringing healthcare excellence for all as the First-Class Healthcare you deserve.
In May 2023, Hanoi French Hospital celebrated its 26th anniversary by inaugurating a hospital expansion project, increasing its capacity to 170 beds. This expansion ensures that the hospital can meet the growing demands for treatment and care while maintaining international standards. With a patient-centered approach, including a focus on children, HFH aims to develop a roadmap for maternal and child healthcare, encompassing comprehensive treatment and care services for children from reproductive health and healthy pregnancy to newborn care and development until the child reaches 16 years of age.
Recognizing the vulnerability of children and the importance of their care and protection, Hanoi French Hospital has been actively involved in providing attention and support to children for many years. This commitment is demonstrated through seminars that impart knowledge about children's health care, as well as volunteer activities in the fields of health and education. Moving forward, HFH pledges to continue participating in meaningful programs that exemplify the spirit of sharing with those facing difficult circumstances, particularly children.
