Hanoi French Hospital conducted a comprehensive fire prevention and rescue drill

On December 31, 2022, Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) in collaboration with the Fire and Rescue Police Force - Dong Da District Police and the Fire and Rescue Police force - Hanoi City Police organized a training session included a drill on how to perform practice fire prevention and rescue plans at the hospital campus. This is an exercise intended to check and strengthen the cooperation between forces, and at the same time check the equipment and readiness at the Hospital to respond to any fire incidents.

At the training session, fire police officers instructed the fire prevention team of HFH on fire safety skills including the effective use of firefighting equipment and how to handle information and communicate in emergency situations.

Hospital staff participated in the drill and coordinated with the fire police officers in a simulated fire situation to deploy firefighting, save people and property, and guide escape through emergency exits of the building, use specialized ladder trucks to rescue people stuck on the high floors of the building.

At the same time, upon receiving the fire alarm from the Hospital, the Fire and Rescue Police Team quickly mobilized 3 fire engines, 1 ladder truck and 1 command vehicle to quickly come to extinguish the fire.

In addition to this coordinated activity with the Fire and Rescue Police Force, HFH organizes monthly internal training sessions for all its employees on fire safety, along with setting up simulated situations for practicing firefighting and rescue skills in order to raise awareness and knowledge of fire prevention and rescue work. Fire protection equipment in the Hospital is regularly checked and is guaranteed to be in working condition. In 2020, HFH was awarded a Certificate of Merit in fire prevention and fighting by Hanoi City Police.
