Here are a few words to express my emotions and gratitude to Hanoi French Hospital, especially the Obstetrics Department of the hospital. 3 years ago, on March 5, 2019, our family was extremely happy to welcome our grandson, Vu Dan Vy, at the hospital's Obstetrics Department, to the world. Since then, my family has noted good impressions and gratitude towards the hospital. After 2 years of using the BabyCare package, my grandson was thoroughly examined by the pediatricians, well explained very clearly and kindly by the vaccinating nurses. Now he is 3 years old.
And now for my daughter, Vũ Huyền Anh, had pregnancy. I registered her for HFH maternity package from the 12th week of pregnancy. During her pregnancy, she was examined and closely followed up by Dr. Nghị. She has risks for pre-eclampsia, must take Aspirin until 36thweek, has high blood sugar. Our family always trusts the expertise of the doctors of HFH. She was tested and always closely monitored.
Until last February 22, she had abdominal pain and uterine contractions when she was 38 weeks pregnant. On that day, Doctor Quyet was on duty at the Department. Doctor Quyet was very enthusiastic to examine and explain carefully to my daughter. Because we live near HFH (in Vọng Street), my daughter went home to monitor herself further. Doctor Quyet has advised very carefully that if she finds any abnormalities, she should go to the hospital immediately without having to make an appointment because the pregnancy is in 38th week. On the morning of February 28, she felt contractions and had a little amniotic water discharged. My family took her to the hospital at 5 a.m.
I am also a recently retired doctor at Friendship Hospital, and was asked to accompany my daughter to take care of my grandchild. After spending a few days at the Hospital's Obstetrics Department, my daughter and I were really touched and extremely grateful for the spirit, service attitude and very good competence of HFH staff. Dr. Loat is the doctor on duty at that time who examined and explained very clearly about the possibilities to my daughter with professional reactions, which made me feel very secure. Then Dr. Nghi (who has been monitoring my daughter’s pregnancy) took over my daughter’s delivery.
Midwife Ngoc on the 4th floor is very welcoming, explaining and guiding my daughter carefully and gently. After a few hours, she was transferred to the 7th floor, the person receiving her was midwife Hien. Ms. Hien's bright but calm and gentle face made my daughter happy and reassured. Doctor Nghi was very busy because there were other births at that time. After 3 hours, Doctor Nghi said that the cervic dilated 3cm. I saw midwife Hien clearly showed a happy expression on her face as if the pregnant woman is her family member. I was very, very touched by that gesture of her.
Before giving birth, Dr. Tho performed epidural for my daughter (her spine was a bit curve due to the influence of her sitting posture) but Dr. Tho did a great job and encouraged her a lot. At 15:07 she gave birth to a baby boy weighing 2.9 kg. I and my daughter burst into tears because of happiness. Doctor Nghi made the nice perineal incision and examined carefully.
After 2 hours, my daughter was taken to the postnatal room on the 4th floor. We were also touched by things there. The nurses and midwives here are also extremely lovely. Every time my daughter rang the bell, they appeared very quickly and always added a sentence: If there is anything you need, just ring the bell, don't hesitate. Midwife Lan is also very calm, always smiling. She is a sure and exemplary midwife leader, as well as the head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board of Management who have selected and trained such a team of staff who are both very dedicated and very professional. The baby was born but the amniotic fluid was green, so he was carefully examined by the pediatrician so that this morning my family could take him home.
The above are a few lines that I think I wrote without preparing in advance, so I hope you can understand well. No one is able to describe the good things of the doctors, midwives and departments who have cared, been considerate and have high expertise of the hospital.
Finally, my family would like to thank the Board of Management, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Pediatricians and all midwives and nurses of Hanoi French Hospital. The hospital will forever be a trusted health care address for my family and friends.
Thank you again to Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I love you guys so much.
I wish the Board of Management and all hospital staff always have good health, happiness and success.
Yours faithfully
Nguyen Thi Tam
