HFH maintains COVID-19 protective measures
Last update 02/07/2022 - 11:54
All patients and visitors are screened and tested before entering Hanoi French Hospital
Vietnam and Hanoi have been adjusting to the ‘new normal’ of the COVID-19 epidemic, and so has Hanoi French Hospital. While we see a continuation of community infections in the city, the Health authorities require hospitals to maintain Covid safety measures to keep health facilities safe for much needed medical care. Hanoi French Hospital continues to strictly screen and quick-test all patients and visitors before entering the hospital, limit the number of visitors, and requires everybody to respect 5K preventive measures throughout its facilities.
Hanoi French Hospital continues to be safe for all medical care for both in- and out-patients with these reinforced COVID-19 safety measures:
- Before entering the hospital, everybody is to present at the screening desk outside the entrance of the hospital for a full health screening:
- Scan the QR code to make your health declaration: Fill out the health status questionnaire truthfully, for symptoms and suspected contacts or infected areas visited. Click here for the questionnaire to be filled out before arrival.
- Your temperature will be checked on the spot
- Download PC-Covid - a recommended tracing or medical declaration application: https://pccovid.gov.vn/
- As an additional measure, we will require all patients and visitors to our hospital to take a COVID quick-test before entering the hospital
Please note that you will be required to wait for the result of the quick-test before proceeding to your appointment. We recommend you come to our hospital half an hour early to allow for sampling and for the test result to be known.
- Please leave your car in the parking area outside the hospital main entrance, or descent from your bike voluntarily and present yourself at the screening table (our staff cannot approach your vehicle for their safety, only confirmed non-infected visitors are allowed to park inside our building).
- While in the hospital facility, we will ask everybody to strictly observe the 5-K COVID safety measures and particularly:
- Wear a high quality face mask (at least surgical mark or offering higher protection) whenever in the hospital
- Practice social distancing, also while waiting (please respect the queues as indicated by yellow stickers)
- Wash and/or disinfect your hand often.
- We are limiting the number of visitors to only one fixed visitor per patient, and only for critical cases and child birth; the same applies for an accompanying parent with pediatric patients during the stay or consultations. Note that visitors and accompanying persons will be required to quick-test too! We understand that this measure may cause some hardship and stress with family and loved-ones, but we ask you to comply for the safety of our patients and of staff.
- Our hospital offers tele-consultation facilities for follow-up treatment and medication. Please consider tele-consultation whenever suitable for your needs and your doctor’s recommendation.
- All our staff has been double vaccinated for COVID-19 vaccination. Still we continue to monitor our staff on their daily health status and has been instructed to follow strict safety and hygiene measures
At Hanoi French Hospital we are committed to keeping our patients, staff and visitors safe so we can continue the care for our patients and provide high quality medical services in the safest possible circumstances. HFH still supplies Health Check, specialty packages and other services to help customer screening and take care of customer’s health. As such, we always apply all guidelines of the competent public authorities.
Ministry of Health has issued a 150-point readiness plan and requires that hospitals to meet at least 75%. HFH has a comprehensive plan in place to meet a maximum of these criteria. Hanoi Department of Health audited Hanoi French Hospital on COVID-19 safety and readiness. The latest audit confirmed that our hospital meets and exceeds the required criteria, certifying that HFH is indeed up-to-date in terms of COVID-19 safety and preparedness.
As people go back to work or prepare to travel, HFH offers a COVID-19 health check. Any individual who is required to travel can now obtain a certificate attesting they are fit to travel, or fit for work. Responding to our customer demands, we provide a Covid-19 Health Certificate, that, after fully assessing the person’s status confirms the Client shows no evidence of COVID-19 infection.
Please kindly find the details of COVID health check program here or call us at (84-24) 3577 1100
Hanoi French Hospital continues to perform proprietary vaccination programs but, as of yet, we cannot offer any vaccinations on demand.
