The team works closely with other specialties—such as Anesthesiology, Imaging, Pediatrics, and Oncology—to provide individualized, optimal care for each patient.
Facilities & Equipment
- MODULITH SLK Extracorporeal Lithotripter
The MODULITH SLK lithotripter from Storz (Germany) operates using a magnetic field mechanism, controlled by a digital computer interface. By combining fluoroscopy and ultrasound, it precisely locates stones in three dimensions, enabling safe and effective fragmentation. This advanced system improves treatment efficacy, reduces post-procedure complications, and shortens hospital stays. Notably, no anesthesia is required, minimizing anesthesia-related risks.
The device can treat most kidney stones under 2 cm, as well as bladder and ureteral stones (except distal ureteric stones in the pelvic region), with only a few specific contraindications for extracorporeal lithotripsy.
- TURis Bipolar Resection System
This modern system is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and superficial bladder tumors. Bipolar resection in saline reduces the risk of electrolyte imbalance and water absorption syndrome while allowing longer, safer procedures even on large prostates. Patients benefit from fewer complications, faster recovery, and improved treatment outcomes.
- Latest Endoscopic Surgery System from Olympus Medical Systems Corp (Japan)
This high-definition endoscopic system provides sharp images, enabling surgeons to view anatomical structures in detail and perform precise, minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. It enhances the quality of diagnosis and treatment while reducing recovery times and maximizing patient safety and comfort.
