Scope of Services

The department receives and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and emergency fracture. Key techniques include:

Upper limb:

• Shoulder arthroscopy for diagnosis and treatment of rotator cuff injuries
• Carpal tunnel release surgery
• Shoulder replacement surgery
• Surgical management of upper limb fractures

Lower limb:

• Knee arthroscopy for meniscal tears and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

The Trauma & Orthopedic Surgery Department at Hanoi French Hospital brings together experienced surgeons trained both in Vietnam and abroad.

In particular, the department’s surgeons work in close collaboration with the Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging, Anesthesiology–Intensive Care, and the Rehabilitation Department to ensure prompt intervention and effective postoperative recovery for patients.
