The Trauma & Orthopedic Surgery Department, part of the Surgery Division at Hanoi French Hospital, is a trusted address for the treatment of accident-related injuries as well as acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Scope of Services
The department receives and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and emergency fracture. Key techniques include:
Upper limb:
- Shoulder arthroscopy for diagnosis and treatment of rotator cuff injuries
- Carpal tunnel release surgery
- Shoulder replacement surgery
- Surgical management of upper limb fractures
Lower limb:
- Knee arthroscopy for meniscal tears and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

In particular, the department’s surgeons work in close collaboration with the Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging, Anesthesiology–Intensive Care, and the Rehabilitation Department to ensure prompt intervention and effective postoperative recovery for patients.
