Medical team

The team of doctors and nurses at the Pediatrics Department – Hanoi French Hospital are highly trained in pediatrics, with years of experience in diagnosing, treating, and caring for children of all ages. Doctors are directly responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and treating each child, ensuring the highest level of treatment effectiveness and safety.

Pediatric nurses are on duty 24/7 in the inpatient area, closely monitoring the child’s condition and assisting with daily activities. The hospital encourages parents or guardians to stay with their child throughout hospitalization to help the child feel secure, reduce anxiety, and cooperate better during treatment.

Facilities

The Pediatric Ward is fully equipped with modern medical devices and amenities. Each patient room is designed to be child-friendly, clean, and bright, creating a familiar and comfortable atmosphere that helps children adapt easily to the hospital environment.

The hospital offers different room categories, including double-occupancy rooms, single-occupancy rooms, Junior Suites and Isolation rooms. Room arrangements depend on the doctor’s diagnosis, advice and other relevant factors to ensure safety and suitability for each patient. If parents wish to change rooms, the nursing staff will assist depending on availability.

Each room is equipped with:

• Adjustable hospital beds suitable for children’s body sizes.
• Essential medical equipment for on-site monitoring and treatment.
• En-suite bathroom, nurse call button, personal wardrobe, and TV for daily needs.

Support services

Laundry and child supplies

The hospital provides clothing and diapers for children throughout their stay and offers free laundry service for the clothes worn upon admission.

Nutrition

Meals are served in-room, ensuring food hygiene and tailored nutrition for children undergoing treatment. Parents can choose from Asian or Western dishes that can be adapted to children’s preferences.

Meal times are as follows:

• Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:00
• Lunch: 11:30 – 12:00
• Dinner: 17:30 – 18:00

For medical safety reasons, the hospital requests that no outside food or beverages be brought into the inpatient area.

Family overnight stay

HFH encourages one parent to stay with their child throughout hospitalization. The accompanying parent is provided with free meals daily and support for basic living needs.

Housekeeping service

Fresh linen is provided daily between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Room cleaning (including bathrooms) is carried out from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Outside these hours, families can press the call button to request assistance when needed.

Additional amenities

• Nurse call: If assistance is needed, please press the bedside call button or use the in-room telephone.
• Interpretation: The hospital provides interpretation services in Vietnamese, Japanese, French, and English. For other languages, please inform the hospital prior to admission if required.
• Free Wifi: High-speed internet is available throughout all patient rooms and hospital areas via the HFH-guest network (no password required).
• Television: Each room is equipped with a TV for entertainment purposes.
