Dr. Nguyen Nang Tan, a neurologist, has received specific training in France. He works on consultation for out-patients from 8:30 AM – 17:00PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Neurology Department provides treatment for several neuro-pathologies, including:

1. Early diagnosis of Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), particularly ischemic forms with precocious thrombolytic treatment.
2. Headache in general and migraine.
3. Chronic neuropathic pain, including disk hernia (with no indication for surgery), sciatica, etc.
4. Parkinson disease and movement disorders, including tremor and abnormal movements as tics.
5. Mutiple sclerosis (MS)
6. Pathology of epilepsy, analysis of electroencephalography (EEG) for adults and children.
7. Treatment of sleep disorder
8. Degenerative and vascular dementia.
9. Infection of central nerve system: meningitis caused by bacteria, virus or tuberculosis. Neuro-cysticercosis. Myelitis.
10. Carpal tunnel Syndrome with electromyography
11. Peripheric neuroradiculopathies (Guillain Barré syndrome) or neuromuscular diseases and muscular diseases (myasthenia)
12. Facial paralysis « a frigore ».
