Overview

Cardiovascular pathology is a worldwide public health issue. Industrialized countries pay a heavy toll to cardiovascular diseases but emerging economies, including Vietnam, are increasingly affected.

Life style changes, sedentarity and unhealthy food habits may contribute to fat metabolism disorders, high blood pressure and artery diseases. In fact, mortality caused by cardiovascular diseases ranks second among non-infectious diseases, after cancer.

Everyday our team of French and Vietnamese cardiologists attends numerous patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.

Prevention is a public health priority. Systematic control of blood pressure, cholesterol and periodic stress test are a sound preventive attitude after certain age.
